The trip
The Trip is a series of digital collages aimed at exploring, reflecting, and creating spaces that are reminiscent of a six-month road trip across the country in which Atchison-Roeder primarily took alone. This trip gave way to Atchison-Roeder understanding their identity and coming out to close friends as gender-queer. The collages are a mix of faces, objects, and places combined to create new settings and worlds in which a queer body can live comfortably and safely.
